I went out for a short spell to hike as I
hadn't been out much this spring (not by choice). I went first to the
small lek on my dad's farm. It looked like there had been activity. I
will try and photograph at this site next spring (I missed doing so this
spring). I did find something below that an animal coughed up (hair and
bones). Next, I went to the large lek on my dad's farm, and even at 4 p.m., about 35 birds flew away as I neared the location. I did a small amount of hiking, and it seems like the wildflowers are doing quite well because of the warm weather (and not because of the moisture which is lacking big time). |
